Pink velvet. Vintage lace. Bottled soda pop. = Perfect wedding.
Aubrey (and Aaron) helped make my *first* wedding a breeze! You see – like many brides, Aubrey’s an avid wedding photography blog reader. I was delighted that she “took a chance” with me and wholeheartedly commissioned me to be their wedding photographer! This was my first wedding, but I was SO ready. 🙂 You see, I’M and avid wedding photography blog reader myself and have been wanting to challenge myself a bit and add a limited amount of weddings per year. When I met with Aubrey and Aaron to discuss their upcoming wedding, I just knew that it was going to be a blast! Aubrey’s vision for her wedding was completely in line with the types of weddings that I hope to photograph. She’s trendy, bubbly, and was ready to let me have complete creative freedom with my photography on their wedding day.
Um….We ALL got slightly teary-eyed when she went downstairs to greet her dad. 🙂 I couldn’t help myself but be so excited for this beautiful bride!
I’m so pleased that Aaron and Aubrey decided to have a “First Look” – it really allowed for *plenty* of time for their photos before the ceremony and for them to relax and enjoy their day together! Here’s Aaron, anxiously waiting for his bride.
The wedding party was fantastic. I couldn’t have asked for a more cooperative group. 🙂
Aaron – your wife has probably told you before…you’re one handsome dude!
…and apparently you already know that. 😉
Seriously, could you guys be any cuter? I’ll fight anyone who disagrees.
I have a “thing” about photographing gorgeous bouquets. I’ll save you from having to view the other 412 images of Aubrey’s fabulous bouquet. (wink, wink)
I loved how Aubrey had pre-planned the props…the pink velvet couch, lace tablecloth, the bridesmaid’s beautiful bracelets all worked together so wonderfully to cast the vintage feel of their day.
Future brides – take notes.
Their wedding ceremony took place in a secluded grassy park. The rain stayed away and it was simply beautiful.
I loved this moment between Aubrey and her father just before they walked down the aisle. I wonder what he was telling her? 🙂
Details, details, details. I’ll admit it, I’m a sucker for bottled Coke. Future brides – take notes. 😉
I’ll leave you with one of my favorites from the day. Aaron & Aubrey – thank YOU for the beautiful day – many blessings on your marriage!
…and a big “thanks” to Julia of Julia’s Focus Photography for doing a fantastic job as my assistant shooter!
