I had the opportunity to photograph adorable, chunky, smiley Eivin for a few 6 month photos!!  Loved seeing him again!

Michael is one of the smiliest and happiest babies I’ve ever met!  He just lights up the room with his grin!  I was so excited to get to take him outside for a few quick shots during his session too…what a cutie!!

Oh, Miss Lilly, you are simply precious.  I love working with babies at this age, they’re roly-poly and generally delighted to get their pictures taken!  I think my favorite part of the 6-8 month age is their love for their own toes, Lilly loved hers too – keep on scrolling to catch that adorable image.  :)

We had an absolutely *perfect* evening for this family’s session…they’re seriously one of my favorite families to capture – they’re fun and laid back and totally willing to just relax during our time together.  After photographing families all summer and fall long, I managed to spy a new favorite location just in time for their session.  Trying to find new and fresh shooting locations can cause one to spend hours driving along all of the back country roads, it’s always a delight to snag a spot that’s literally 4 minutes from my home.  Anyways, I’m totally rambling about how great this location is…let’s just get to the images already…

So, it’s been quite some time since I’ve posted anything personal on this here blog of mine.  Truthfully, I don’t even think I blogged Elias’s newborn photos….and he’s 11 months…. #photographermomfail.

We just updated our bathroom and it’s now Elias’s favorite place to play – lol!  And it actually gets some fantastic light so we did a quick little shoot in there while he was happy.

I always enjoy photographing these sweet friends each fall….each year Spiros gets more and more adorable {and ornery!! – lol}.

Catching up on some summer blogging on this blustery 5 degree Indiana day….and these images make me warm and happy.  :)

This little gal is one of my favorites.  Her mama and I have been the best of friends since our freshman year of college and they adopted Emery as a 4 month old.  I’ve loved watching Emery grow up in the loving arms of my sweet friends, Tyler and Kari.

I was supposed to photograph Miss Amalia’s newborn photos but due to health complications, I photographed her as a sweet little 6 month old instead!  And she is seriously a dollbaby!  Huge eyes, gorgeous smile (which she managed to hide from me for most of our time together), and loving parents.  Loved this whole session.

Brayden was so precious.  And SO good.  Here we thought that I’d show up to his session, he’d be zonked out and I’d take some “newbornesque” photos of his sweet face {6 weeks is a tad old for the typical newborn poses but I was up for the challenge}.  Nope.  He wanted to party with us….in the “I’m calm, cool, and collected” kind of way.  I hardly heard a peep out of him the entire time!

I absolutely loved photographing Emerson.  She is bubbly, adorable,  and was up to anything we asked her to do.  Crazy enough, her mama mentioned later that day that Emerson had a fever and a double ear infection – she was so cooperative that I never would have known!  One fun thing to mention is that these images were taken at the house where her mama grew up and got married in the back yard – I love when my clients revisit special places in their lives for sessions!!
